Reimagining technology to lower barriers and scale impact

Our Mission
We democratize advanced technology — making AI and data science accessible, sustainable, and human-centered so entrepreneurs and community leaders can focus entirely on serving their communities.

We are a research collective exploring how AI and data science can help small businesses, franchises, and community-based nonprofits achieve growth once reserved for large enterprises.

Founded in 2019 and revitalized in 2025, Etalon Sciences applies decades of experience in enterprise SaaS, operational strategy, and scientific research to underserved markets.

About

About Us

Crafting Excellence Through Innovation and Dedication

Etalon Sciences began in 2019 as a pro bono exploration into cancer clinical trial matching. Partnering with groups like Cancer Commons and the Pancreatic Action Network, we sought to address a stark inequity: in many rural and underserved regions, patients had little access to clinical trial information or pathways to late-stage intervention. Our goal was simple yet profound — to give ordinary people a better chance at hope.

When the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped healthcare priorities, we adapted. Many of the solutions we were investigating — genetic screening, diagnostic integration, and data accessibility — are now part of mainstream medical practice. That early work reinforced a core insight: technology, when thoughtfully applied, can remove barriers and extend possibilities for those who lack access.

In 2025, we revitalized Etalon Sciences as a structured think tank to tackle a new frontier: AI/ML and data science systems designed for underserved organizations. While large enterprises benefit from advanced tools, small businesses, franchises, and community-based nonprofits often face the same complexity with far fewer resources.

By conducting applied research, developing prototypes, and sharing insights openly, Etalon Sciences aims to create frameworks that make growth more accessible, sustainable, and human-centered.

Our mission is clear: to reimagine how technology can help people scale their impact. Whether that's a neighborhood nonprofit, a first-time entrepreneur, or a local franchisee, we believe the benefits of AI and data systems should extend to all — not just the well-resourced.
